The only problems I came along during this project was not knowing what to draw. I solved this problem by using my brain. what i like most about this project is how well i was able to draw everything.

I met the goals of this challenge by using the internet and my class time wisely. Throughout this project there has been three questions being asked the whole time, the first question that was being asked was how does one determine criteria to evaluate a work of art? The answer to this is, you should address form and content and consider the art work your own. The second question being asked was, how can the viewer "read" a work of art as text. The answer to that is, I can not tell you and Google couldn't tell me in a way i understand. The third question is, how is personal preference different from an evaluation? The answer to this is that personal preference is what any average person thinks, but an evaluation is what a professional would be able to tell you. What i learned from this project is that in the picture Washinton is crossing the Delaware to make a surprise attack.
I learned new and cool ways to use imovie during this project. I will never forget some of the ways I used imovie for this project. I met the standard by finding hunting and fishing paintings. After i found them i would find the author, name of painting and the price of the painting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOwOrmxbWoQ&list=UUeZIb2W-nyDh81yAv7xDeqw for this project i made a snow globe. i started this project by painting stripes on the inside of my jar. after that i waited for the paint to dry and added baby oil to the jar until it was almost full. after i added the baby oil i added glitter. after i got the right amount of glitter in the bottle i put the lid back on and super glued it shut. after i got the project done i noticed the as you turn the bottle the color in the back looks different because of the stripe, you can see his in the video below.this is a picture of my snow globe after i shook it up.I started by deciding what I wanted to draw. I decided I wanted to draw a deer but I didn't want a regular deer I wanted a cartoon deer. So I started the drawing by sketching it out, then made the sketch bold with a sharpie. Second I colored in the sketch. Then I added in its name. Finally after adding in its name I finished by coloring in a back ground color.
I started with a blank piece of linoleum and traced my logo design on it. After I got the design traced on to the linoleum I learned about the stop block and the carving tool. You start carving by putting the stop block underneath your linoleum. After that you use the carving tool and wiggle it back and forth to carve out you're design. As you are carving you always be sure to keep you're free hand behind you're carving hand. After you get you're design completely carved out then you are ready to print. To print you have to have a brayer, cookie tray, and printmaking ink. You put ink on the tray and roll it out so it is nice and sticky. Then you use the brayer and put ink on the linoleum. After you have ink on you're linoleum you put it on you're paper and apply with pressure. I would recommend to do multiple prints for best results. Then let you're prints dry and you are done.
To me my design means that I like fishing. I made this by thinking about things I like. I knew I like fishing and I remembered I made this design last year so it would be easy. So I just remembered how I made that and did the same thing again.
